  • Science over violence. Instruments, field labs, drills, improvised engineering — simple arms remain secondary.
  • Temporal navigation. Expeditions bend hours and latitude; mastery of chemistry opens the path back.
  • Antarctica as constant. A grounded, handcrafted stage for science — silence, ice, pressure.
  • Weather as background pressure. Storms and cold are ever-present, never the core loop.
  • 1930s Art Deco. Realistic stylization with modern fidelity.

About

Submontium Games is a small studio focused on handcrafted visuals and original systems. We build with Unreal Engine, Blender, and Mari. The studio is based in the Czech Republic and led by Zdeněk Levý.

Our games put science first: players progress by understanding chemical laws and using them to navigate time.

Submontium begins at the Mariánské Lázně colonnade hub and unfolds across expeditions with Antarctica as the constant.”
